Porcelain doll for sale

So it’s time to part with one of my miniature dolls. I do not like to say goodbye to them, and I do it very rarely. Sometimes I sell babies 5 cm ( 2 inches) tall when I have a small amount of them.
And for sale, I put the doll fully dressed, as they say, with a dowry.

A few months ago I caught the eye of a whole family of vintage dolls from different authors. I’ve been following them for days and thinking about them. Almost all of them were made of plastic, such I especially love. And only two of them were made of clay. And that’s one of them I want to offer for sale. I know that many collectors love and collect precisely such vintage porcelain small dolls.

I couldn’t find the author of this doll. But I guess it was done a long time ago. The face is very sweet and gentle. Arms and legs are moving. The doll is made very carefully and can decorate any doll collection.

I made her a full set of clothes. White knitted dress with dark blue ornament. Pants and jacket with a hood are also decorated with the same dark blue ornament. The white cap will fit both the dress and the blue set.

For a little doll, I made a small crocheted basket that can serve as a cradle. At the bottom of the cradle, I sewed a white openwork sheet. I crocheted her up with a mercerized cotton.

Included with the cradle has two tiny pillows and a miniature blanket. The whole set of clothes and accessories for the crib are made in the same style and are connected with spokes and a hook of quality yarn.

Very soon I will put in my store this doll set. I hope that someone will like it. And the doll will go to her new home.

 

 

Heidi Ott lady new clothes.

When all orders are sent, can take a break and finally write a new post about my favorite doll. The other day I came back from the post office, sent orders, and decided to clean up the workplace. While I was laying out the yarn and the needles and putting the dolls on the shelf, I thought……and which one I like more. Or so, for which of them is it more interesting to me to make clothes?)

More often this is the doll for which the next order is made) or the doll that is new or just recently I had.
But in my collection, there is a doll that makes me want to make clothes for real customers. And this doll is a woman from Heidi Ott.

Her is not comparable to the mobility of BJD dolls and my dear baby lati white and I can not yet compare the lady doll from Heidi Ott with other dolls made for doll houses. Nevertheless, its mobility is great. And it is very important to me that any poses that this doll takes are very natural. In the women-doll by Heidi Ott delicately played the Golden mean: they do not have deliberate puppetry, a primitive dolls of other brands, specially produced for doll houses. The Creator managed to avoid and emphasized naturalism. That’s it for this she is my favorite doll.
Creating realistic clothes for this doll requires special attention and patience. This does not mean that other dolls and their outfits, I am not carefully) Just a Lady from Heidi Ott very fragile and any fitting specified great accuracy.

For her, I have created many sets of clothes. Many I sometimes repeat at the request of customers. The new collection is quite small and consists of dresses and several sweaters, which I think are quite nice and interesting.

Strawberry doll from Canada!

In June, my favorite berry is Strawberry) It is sweet and the most beautiful, with white dots and bright green leaves. And what her flavor)))))!!! It is impossible to pass by and not to buy a basket of fresh and ripe berries!

The mood becomes amazing and for a long time in the air is kept sweet aroma. Oh))) while I wrote, already salivating flowed))) what am I)?

At the very beginning of June, along with the aroma of strawberries, a Strawberry doll came to me. My dear Lisa sent it to me from Canada. So I don’t torment her with requests for size.)))

To this day, I saw this doll just for the photos from Lisa and the pictures on the Internet.

When I opened the package, I looked funny eyes and a sly smile. “Hello,” she said. I Berry strawberry. I saw your dresses and I want to live in your workshop.” Hi: – I replied. Will you make me beautiful dresses? she asked. Of course my good doll, I answered with excitement.

Sun, Sea, Vacation and Announcement!

Hurray! I’m going on vacation tomorrow. And before I leave, I want to make a small announcement of what awaits you after my brief trip to the sea and the sun.

Quite unexpectedly for me, Petit Blythe was a very popular doll among my regular and new customers. So I’ve already made some new dresses and sets.

I bought another Petit Blythe. The new doll is a little darker than her girlfriend. Her eyes don’t close.

This doll from the company Hasbro. It differs in a few more details. The head is movable and I really like it, but the Legs, unfortunately, do not bend, and it’s a little sad(

Like last time, I replaced the wig. The new image seems more beautiful to me.

And most important! I was thinking, what are the names of the dolls my clients have? I never asked them, but now I’m interested.

Dolls, which I “saved” on Ebay)))

Good day my dear readers. I am very grateful to all for the comments and kind words to my little stories. Today’s story is about “rescued” dolls. It’s humor, of course, but I really liked the comment of one of my clients. After a long day of work, which sometimes ends at almost midnight or later, I love to browse through lots of doll sales on Ebay. Often these night vigils end with shopping. Sometimes I even win auctions, if one or another lot I really want to have. And the most important thing is that very rarely happen frustration after shopping. I’ll show you my latest purchases. Perhaps will be a little more photos than usual. I’ll start in order. First, from the UK came here a couple of small plastic dolls Edi. They arrived, as it was prescribed in perfect condition.

The kids are very cute and resemble a family of Danish villagers.
After them, came here is a “pearl” in my collection. The pupa is porcelain, with an amazing face and a blue bow. Unfortunately, her legs are connected, but the comforting that her handles are moving and give me the opportunity later to dress it.

While writing this post, it seems that they all arrived one after another))) But of course the spaces between their arrival gave me time to wonder and enjoy their beauty and magic.

Vintage and modern dolls 2,5-2,75 inches

Hello, everybody. This post I conceived for a long time, I want to write a series of stories about dolls of different brands, but the same size.
Of course, I had to start with the smallest dolls, but I will not strictly follow the size range)
My favorite doll size and most popular among my dear customers is 2.5 -2.75 inches. They have a very small difference in height, allowing you to create clothes about the same.
At the beginning of a small family portrait. Here they are, my lovely kids, seated and ready to tell their stories.
Dolls of this size very much, different materials and different faces. All have in collections impossible. Manufacturers of such dolls even more. And of course fans of this or that puppet campaign a huge set. My dolls are different too, according to the materials from which they are made, by the characters and time of creation. Almost all of these dolls were created for doll houses and children’s games. Nowadays they have become collectibles and they are now played by adults!!
The beauty of my modest collection is in the variety of dolls. From old to modern. How else can we trace the evolution and development of materials. My doll collection is constantly updated. This is due not so much to the desire and readiness for any order, but also because in me the spirit of this collector is born.

I do not pretend and do not intend to tell the stories of all companies, if desired, you will be able to find information about them on the Internet. I will only write the main points and of course the names of these companies.

2. Miniature doll 2,5 inches plastic by Petitecollin

Petite Blyth.

I was always afraid of these dolls, and I didn’t plan on buying them. But the little doll I took the risk to buy. It was important for me to understand if I could make clothes for her. And, finally, she is in my home. I will make a reservation at once, I bought not the original. But now I think, that need to buy and “the right” doll. Blythe (in English transcription of Blythe) is a collectible doll with a disproportionately large head in relation to the body, inside of which is hidden a mechanism that allows you to change the color of the eyes and the direction of gaze. 

A little bit of history and facts about Blythe.

Blythe doll was born in 1971 in Marvin glass Studio in Chicago, Illinois and was originally intended for children.  The first Blyth was produced by the American company Kenner (Kenner), now this doll is better known as Kenner Blythe or vintage Blythe. In 1972, production ceased due to lack of demand. In the same 1972, the Blythe doll was produced in parallel, and in the Japanese market by the company Tomy (Tomy), but also had no success, and the production of it was discontinued. Now-dolls release 1972 from Kenner and Tom are very rare, valued by collectors and are expensive.

Production of dolls resumed only in June 2001 already in Japan by Takara (Takara), which received a production license from Hasbro (Hasbro) new version of dolls Blythe – Neo Blythe (Neo Blythe). 23rd June 2001 is the day of the revival of Blythe, in honor of this event every year in June/July issued a limited-edition commemorative doll Blythe, which has a more complex elaboration of the image.

My lovely crocheted doll!
